We are losing our abilities in critical thinking when we shortcut processes without addressing what is required in depth to create a viable solution. We need to hold on to what only we can address about our lives and business. Use reality to check expectations. Timelines are drawn by a goal instead of understanding what steps are required along the way from start to finish. My years in the building department stores taught me how often things go wrong. Minute details are missed and create unexpected changes. Timeline projections are unrealistic. Projects go through various stages of system development to be truly functional. It requires learning to review, adapt, and move forward. Embracing what chaos teaches you is easier when you understand the values you use to make critical decisions in life and business.
