people, learning from them, and serving others in a meaningful way. Getting very involved in Rotary showed me that I could lead others, and I loved it. I believe I was drawn to hypnosis because I experienced the power of the subconscious and how it can help free us. My part-time hypnosis practice was my first experience helping women who were struggling to lose weight. It was immensely gratifying to witness their transformation. The practice was short-lived, but the seeds for later were planted. When I moved to Las Vegas, I briefly re-entered the corporate world. I ended up working for an extremely abusive couple, and thankfully, that was only seven months of torture. In 2012, I started my digital marketing business, which ultimately had eight employees. I created a culture of reciprocal mentoring. The Boomers helped the Millennials with business etiquette, and they helped us with technology. COVID was tough but we hung on. Still, something was missing. I felt that my “power” was somewhere else. defeated, and invisible.
