Copy of July Women of Power Issue 2025

That’s when my true purpose became clear. I once again went back to school to become an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I built a program. I wrote a book. I created a movement. I now knew it’s not just about what we eat, it’s about what we believe, how we lead, and who we become when we stop apologizing for taking up space. It’s about menopause, and the impact of that on our hormones and so many other things. It’s about women claiming their power to take care of themselves, love their bodies, and understand how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. My power doesn’t lie in my resume. It lies in my lived experiences. Being a Woman of Power means showing up for others even when I’ve had to piece myself back together. It means continuing to learn, evolve, and expand. I went back to finish my bachelor’s at 43 and earned my master’s ten years later, not because I had to, but because I’m always curious, always growing. Power, to me, is not about status. It’s about service. It’s about choosing to lead with integrity, vision, and heart. It’s about deciding that our past doesn’t define us, but it can refine us, if we let it. Now, it’s about sharing what I have learned. I’ve done many things, and helping women release the anger, resentment, and grief they carry about their bodies is where I feel at home. This is what I want to do. I help them reclaim their confidence and get their sexy back after years of feeling lost. That is the most powerful work I’ve ever done. The future…it lies in adventure. In knowing who I am, what I want, and how I want to spend my time. I do not know what lies ahead. I do know that curiosity will lead to learn new things, meeting new people, and experiencing more of what life has to offer. If this story resonates with you, I’d love to hear your reflections.
