There's a great story behind this favorite photo of my mom and me. ( My Mother’s Day Greeting is at the end) It was taken during my 40th birthday party celebration, which was generously hosted by a dear mom-in-spirit friend, Bobbi Zacharias. What an incredible day that was! Bobbi did something no one else had done before. Besides cooking an amazing, home-cooked birthday lunch, and hosting an elegant party at her beautiful home overlooking Lake Michigan, she asked my circle of girlfriends to share how they knew me -- and what they liked about me. No one had ever done that before! I was stunned. What an incredible feeling it was to have people tell me from their hearts how they appreciated me. Now -- I love to pay back that experience -- over and over -- as a Blue Ribbon ambassador with Blue Ribbons Worldwide. Whenever I meet people -- or even visit those I already know, it gives me great joy to honor them. To let them know how much they make a difference.. When you open your heart, joy gets reflected right back to you! A Story From This Week...
