We say we value freedom. Peace. Connection. Travel. Time with our kids. But if your money could talk, would it say the same thing? Most of us never stop to ask. We’re busy surviving: managing bills, dodging overdrafts, holding everything together with willpower and coffee. Think about it. Every dollar you spend is a vote. A vote for the life you want, or the one you’ve quietly settled for. Money tells your story. Sometimes in the moments that matter. Sometimes in receipts.
Taprooting Wealth: Rewriting what we inherit I grew up knowing what scarcity felt like. I also knew what it looked like to live joyfully despite it. But I didn’t realise I could rewrite the story I’d inherited until I started designing the life I actually wanted. That shift came through small choices. Noticing what mattered. And choosing to vote for it with my dollars, my habits and my example. Taprooting Wealth means we don’t just plant seeds. We build an ecosystem of calm, confidence and choice. One that holds steady in any storm. We stop chasing quick wins and begin investing in lasting ones. And generation after generation grows up seeing money not as a mystery, but as a tool they know how to use. Every dollar you spend is a vote We all have goals we care about: ease, clarity, comfort, more time for what matters. But time and money move fast, and most of us spend without realising what it’s pointing to. Think about your last week of purchases. What were they voting for? Spending with intention doesn’t just shift your finances. It shapes the life you’re building. And the story your kids are watching unfold.
