The Right Mop Every Time Size and Color Mop Size is the actual size of the mop:
Small = 11–14 oz Medium = 15–19 oz Large = 20–26 oz X-Large = 27–32 oz Mop Color refers to the color of the mop yarn. Headband Color refers to the color of the mesh headband and helps in quickly identifying mop size: Small = Yellow Medium = Green Large = Red/Orange X-Large = Blue Headband Size is the width of the colored mesh headband: • 1" Headband is the most common and can be used with all mop heads. • 5" Headband is used with the Gripper mop handle. Construction Cut-End Mops • Low initial cost—must be replaced more frequently • Prone to linting, unraveling, and tangling • Cannot be laundered Looped-End Mops • Manufactured from a single strand of yarn (usually over 550' long)
