Wipe all surfaces with alcohol where the furnace cement is to be

applied. This will remove residual manufacturing oils and promote sealant adhesion. Use a clean, oil free rag or paper towels.
Step 3: Use the provided high temperature furnace cement to fill the area between the flue and the collar. Let cure 24 hours before use.
USE ONLY UL-103 HT (US) OR ULC-S629 (CA) OR BETTER LISTED STAINLESS STEEL FLUE
WITH THIS UNIT. DO NOT USE : plastic, single wall, uninsulated, air insulated or Class B flue as they present a significant fire hazard and may cause serious injury or death. SEAL ALL OTHER FLUE JOINTS with RTV high- temperature silicone and aluminum tape. Failure to do so is a significant fire and carbon monoxide hazard and may cause serious injury or death.
