HR Faculty Welcome Guide

Welcome New Faculty Orientation is designed to help you begin your journey at CWU with a strong foundation. As you get settled into your new role, your supervisor and your department’s administrative support staff are great first points of contact for everyday questions. Throughout this orientation, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of the university’s mission, values, and culture, and how your role contributes to our shared goals. You’ll also be introduced to key policies, benefits, and resources to support your success as a member of the CWU community. For more detail about the information provided in this guide, visit the Faculty and Permanent - Welcome page.

Most of the information in this guide is relevant to all faculty, whether they are on a 9-month contract (F09), a 12-month contract (F12), or are hired on a year-to-year basis (FYR).
