Salary Spread Faculty members may request to have their base salary distributed over 12 months, rather than receiving payments only during the academic year. By default, faculty are paid October through June, with no pay during summer unless teaching under a summer contract. The Salary Spread option allows your base salary to be divided evenly across 24 pay periods, providing consistent income year-round. Employee Reporting Responsibilities As a responsible employee, you are required to report any potential sexual harassment or misconduct brought to your attention. Reports should be made directly to the Title IX Coordinator at crc@cwu.edu or x2050, or through the Concern and Support Form in MyCWU: • MyCWU > Other Links > Concern and Support Form

Faculty Representation Department Chair • First point of contact for department-specific issues, guidance, and support. Faculty Senate • Oversees academic policies, curriculum, and university-wide faculty concerns • Serves as a forum for faculty complaints and feedback • Holds monthly meetings • Each department has one or two senators who provide monthly updates.
