Why I want to be an athletic trainer: I want to be an athletic trainer because I believe every patient in every setting (visual performing arts, athletics, factory, etc.) deserves health care. Why I chose UW-Stevens Point: My dad played hockey at UWSP in the ’90s, so growing up I heard nothing but great things about the sports medicine staff and his experience here at Point. I also wanted to gain experience in a new state and get out of my comfort zone. What setting would you like to work in? Collegiate or industrial setting. Fun fact: I fostered 15 dogs during my time as an undergrad.
