Why I want to be an athletic trainer: Being able to work with active populations, hands-on treating and educating, allows ATs to give power to their patients to succeed in their goals. I am extremely excited to give my patients the knowledge to succeed by themselves in the future with my guidance and education. Why I chose UW-Stevens Point: The community and support system that I have grown to love and rely on in undergrad has allowed me to push through boundaries and make new discoveries about my future career goals that I never otherwise would have made. Staying at UWSP with faculty that feels like family only made sense to me! What setting would you like to work in? I would love to combine my passion for AT and fire/EMS and work towards creating resources in tactical setting for different fire/EMS and police departments.
