Dear fellow NY REALTOR ® , The Fall Business Meetings are fast approaching and we’re excited about the great meetings, education sessions, networking events and charitable offerings we have lined up for you. I fully anticipate you’ll leave Turning Stone with new, actionable ideas to boost your business, insights about the industry and many new or renewed connections with your fellow REALTORS ® – all while getting the satisfaction of providing your input about the direction of our association. I hope you’re ready to embrace technology with me! Start by building your schedule at meetingplanner.nysar.com. The meetings will kickoff on Sunday with the ever- popular Legal Update followed by NYSAR’s new #TechKNOW event. (Think Ted Talk- formatted sessions geared specifically toward your business.) Join me at Sunday’s President’s Reception for a cocktail, but plan to wake up bright and early Monday morning for YPN’s CE session on teams. In addition to the 2018 REALTOR ® of the Year announcement, this year’s General Session will be particularly special with Carl Carter, Jr. delivering a keynote presentation titled: “Your Safety is Non-Negotiable: The Beverly Carter Story.” While you’ll work hard during the day, Monday and Tuesday night both offer time to get social at the RPAC Karaoke Night and the YPN Golf Social. Finally, I hope you’ll take time out of your schedule to volunteer at NYSAR’s Habitat for Humanity Home in a Box Build on Monday and Tuesday. Details can be found inside.
