Craig Shimasaki, Ph.D., MBA President & CEO, BioSource Consulting Group Moleculera Biosciences, Inc. Dr. Shimasaki is a scientist, businessperson and serial entrepreneur with a passion for translating scientific and medical discoveries into acutely needed products. He has over 35 years of experience in the biotechnology industry co-founding multiple companies and participated in taking several public. He is the CEO of BioSource Consulting Group and the co-founder and CEO of Moleculera Biosciences, a neuroimmunology precision medicine company focused on identifying the underlying roots of neurologic, psychiatric and behavioral disorders triggered by an autoimmune response. He has led multiple products through the FDA approval process and is a co-inventor on multiple patents. Shimasaki received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from the University of California at Davis, his Ph.D. in molecular biology and biotechnology from the University of Tulsa, and his MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business. He is an adjunct professor and senior entrepreneur-in-residence at the University of Oklahoma, and teaches entrepreneurship at the Price School of Business. Dr. Shimasaki is a mentor to first- time biotech CEOs at the Termeer Foundation in Boston. Internationally, he teaches and mentors scientists, physicians, and biotech leaders on how to translate their discoveries into acutely needed medical interventions. Dr. Shimasaki has authored and edited three books. Stephanie Wickham, Ph.D. Senior Director of Technical Sales and Technology, Cytovance Biologics Dr. Stephanie Wickham brings more than two decades of extensive experience in large molecule biologics, spanning both research and industry. Her academic journey, including graduate and post-doctoral fellowships, concentrated on protein biochemistry, exploring structure/function protein interactions and advancing small molecule enzyme inhibitors. Throughout her career, Dr. Wickham has been dedicated to building and leading technical scientific teams, notably contributing to manufacturing sciences and technology and research and development teams. In recent years, her focus has expanded to cultivating client and industry relationships, collaborating with the business development team to establish partnerships that enhance Cytovance’s service offerings. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and mathematics, and complemented by a Ph.D. in microbiology, underscoring her multidisciplinary expertise.
