“Identify fears, beliefs, loss, trauma, habits that don’t serve you and do the work. Create a mindset of impacting and adding value to others. Keep the best interests of others at heart and share your vision enthusiastically and repeatedly,” explained Murtesa. “We use Autoship to set up the bulk of our monthly volume in week one, to plan, budget and create a predictable volume when setting monthly goals,” he said.
Their advice for handling challenging times is to be open to change and go with it. “Be prepared to be solutions orientated. No matter what hurdles happen along the way, stay focused on your ‘why’ and your goal.” What’s their big goal? “Eventually, we want to retire and to travel the world together, to be financially free with the ability to choose what we want to do and not be restricted by time frames or finances.”
The couple focused on growing their business during the lockdowns and it’s paid off. “We used Zoom extensively to connect with our team. Post-lockdown, we’ve used it daily for meetings and delivered training on Amway products. The online learning also helps inform all areas of our business for us, and for our team,” they said.

Technology plays a big part in helping the couple run their business, especially with young children. “We use social media, messaging platforms, video conferencing and community apps to help our team grow and learn. Amway’s tools for IBOs are super helpful in tracking key performance measures and gaining insight into business trends and performance,” said Tymon. “We use strong educational systems and support for our team to recreate the growth-based environment our mentors provided us,” they said.
“We’re aiming to qualify for Founders Platinum by September 2023 with guidance and support from our upline, coaches and mentors. They’ve already been a great support in helping us get to Platinum,” explained Mission. The biggest personal growth has been in the couple’s leadership skills. “We’ve learned so much about leadership development (leadership is spelt E.X.A.M.P.L.E), the power of the spoken word, and
