R obin Cheramie, PhD, was named dean of the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University in February 2020. Cheramie came to Kennesaw State University in 2004 as an assistant professor of management. In 2014, she became the Director of the Michael A. Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality, where she led the development of the first BBA in Entrepreneurship in the University System of Georgia and initiated the development of the BBA in Hospitality Management. Cheramie served as the Coles College’s interim dean beginning in 2019. Since joining Coles College, Cheramie has made a name for herself as a dedicated educator and researcher. Her research on feedback-seeking behaviors, training and development, perceived accountability, and career management has been published in prominent academic journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Human Relations. Cheramie holds a PhD in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in the area of organizational behavior and human resourcemanagement. She also holds anMBA from the University of New Orleans, and a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Southeastern Louisiana University. She is a member of the Academy of Management, the Southern Management Association, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, and the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber.
