MULTI-SITE BRANDS

■ F45 further strengthens its position as London’s #1 boutique studio operator – by number of locations – after reaching 40 studios this year. The chain has added three studios in 2023, having added five in 2022. ■ 1Rebel sits in second place with 11 London studios, despite not opening any new locations in 2023. It opened two locations in 2022 after acquiring and rebranding two former Core Collective studios. ■ Three Mind & Body operators complete London’s top five boutique brands by number of locations: Barrecore (see page 66) and Ten Health & Fitness (see page 45) each operate 10 boutique studios across the capital, while Hotpod Yoga operates eight. (Note that Ten Health & Fitness also operates an 11th studio for private sessions only, with no group exercise provision.) ■ These top five brands account for almost a quarter (24%) of all boutique studios in London, and the top 10 operators one-third (33%). ■ The top 10 brands have opened 53 new boutique studios since 2018, but closed 17.
