Fibre Optic Rotary Joints (FORJs) should also be considered to facilitate low attenuation losses and high speed data transfer. BGB can offer a tailored solution to cater to CANBUS, Profinet, analogue and digital signals as well as standard power channels. Depending on the distance travelled and the amount of light channels that are required BGB can support in selecting the most appropriate unit to optimise insertion loss and back reflection

Our 120A holders use a specially selected brush grade to optimise both good quality contact and lubrication to ensure a low impedance path for lightning to ground.

Through investment in plant, people and process we are able to manufacture high tolerance parts controller to 1 micron (1/75th diameter of a human hair). Our holders are fully cast units which are surface plated as standard to resist marine environments.

Postproduction we offer support and repairs, and for high technology offerings (where the cost of down- time is high) we offer

hardware as a service. If you have a problem with an existing component or supplier, we offer root cause analysis services to provide impartial technical insight and solution.

The holders use constant force stainless steel spring clips to ensure long service life.

Make use of BGB’s in-house testing facilities to stress test the rotary solution before deployment. Test boundaries for: torque, speed, wear rates, signal loss, surface roughness, temperatures, data loss and bit error rate tests.
