ON-SITE REGISTRATION Online is the easiest - but if you want to register on-site you just need to head to the registration counter located in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. FORMS OF PAYMENT VISA, MasterCard, American Express and checks are accepted for payment. All checks must be made payable to “SWVS” andmust be drawn on a U.S. bank. If you want to register online and pay by check, a payment option for “check” is available, and your registration will only be considered confirmed upon receipt of the mailed check. IMPORTANT NOTE: Checks must be postmarked by the deadline for discount pricing. Any payment received after the discount registration deadline will be assessed the registration fee applicable to the date the check is received. Checks must be received within 5 business days after registering online. NSF CHECKS AND DECLINED CREDIT CARDS In the event that checks are returned as NSF or credit cards are declined, you will be notified immediately. A $35 NSF fee will apply and a replacement check will be required. Payment issues must be resolved within 5 business days of being notified, or your registration will be invalid. Payment must be received by each respective deadline to qualify for the reduced registration fee. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATIONS Registration confirmations are sent by email, so please provide your email address! If you are considering any Interactive Labs/Master Classes/CE Tours/Meet the Experts Lunch, space is limited; youmay want to go online to register. Mailed or faxed forms require manual processing and there is a chance youmay not receive your first selections. PRIVACY NOTE: SWVS WILL NOT sell your personal information to a third party. See the SWVS privacy policy at swvs.org/privacy-policy. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellation of registration and/or social events must be made in writing via email to info@swvs.org, fax 972-850-7469, or postmarked by August 31. Cancellations cannot be taken over the phone. A $50 handling fee will be charged to cover administrative costs.

VETERINARY STUDENTS & TECHNICIAN STUDENTS REGISTRATION Veterinary and technician students are required to provide acceptable identification when registering for SWVS 2019. Acceptable documents are: a copy of a current student identification card, a letter of verification, or a letter written on official letterhead signed by a professor. When registering online, students can upload their documentation and proof of Student I.D. verification that is required. This will confirm the student registration immediately, and the student will receive an acknowledgment of his/her registration. Students who choose to fax or mail their registrations must attach a copy of the acceptable proof of identification document with the registration. DESIGN CONFERENCE The annual Design Conference will be held this year on Thursday and Friday at the Henry B. González Convention Center. Attendees have the option to attend one or both days of the Design Conference. Proceedings are provided to registrants only. See page 21 for complete details. Registration to SWVS is not required to attend the Design Conference. INTERACTIVE LABS/MASTER CLASSES/CE TOURS/MEET THE EXPERT LUNCHes Youmust be registered for SWVS 2019 (complete or one-day) to attend these ticketed CE offerings. An additional fee is required. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the maximum capacity is reached. IMPORTANT NOTE: The registration deadline for these ticketed CE offerings is August 9. A $25 cancellation fee applies for cancellations made prior to August 9. No refunds of ticketed CE events will be given after August 9 for cancellations. Cancellations cannot be taken over the phone. These ticketed CE offerings require a minimumnumber of registrants. If a session has less than the minimumnumber required, it will be cancelled in August. Participants will be notified and appropriate refunds will be processed. TITER DETERMINATION AND RABIES VACCINATION CLINIC SWVS offers you the opportunity to have blood drawn for a titer determination. Blood will be drawn on Saturday, packaged, and shipped to a laboratory for titer determination. Results will be sent fromK-State.

Estimated turnaround time is six to eight weeks. Cost of the titer will be $75. If it has been a relatively long time (5 or more years) since you had a rabies booster vaccination or a titer determination, youmay elect to have a booster vaccination instead of having a titer run. Cost of the vaccination will be $300. Sign up for either a titer or rabies booster as you register. wheelchair in the Convention Center. MEDIA REGISTRANTS Press andmedia must register with SWVS prior to attending the Symposium. Press credentials will be issued to authorizedmedia. GUEST REGISTRATION All guests include family members or anyone who are not veterinarians, veterinary technicians, office staff or practice managers. All veterinarians, veterinary technicians, office staff or practice managers must register and pay registration fees. Guest badges are available for $40. This allows guests to attend non-CE events, exhibits, and non-ticketed events. Guests cannot attend any CE sessions. Guest Lunch tickets for Friday or Saturday can be purchased at the Registration counter for an additional $15 per person/per day. CHILDREN Children age 17 and under do not require a name badge but must be accompanied by a registered attendee in the Exhibit Hall. Children are not permitted in any CE sessions. PROCEEDINGS 2019 Proceedings will again be available online through Veterinary Information Network. All registered attendees will have access to the conference notes online and on the mobile app. There will be no books or flash drives available. POWER PACKAGE registration We have made registration for the Power Package (which includes one DVM plus three technicians and/or office personnel) easy so that all included in this package may register at once with a single form of payment.
