Business Challenges • The four largest businesses in the group required a true omni-channel offering to remain competitive. • Each business would enter it’s own development cycle, especially from a front-end perspective. • The core conundrums being, one or two of the sites at anyone point in time would be therefore be outdated. In addition, the challenge of mitigating a ‘resource blowout’ to meet the exacting requirements of each business. Customer Benefits • Thanks to Scaffold, the group can now ensure that each core business is given the attention and resources it needs to thrive while benefiting from shared expertise and economies of scale. This approach not only supports sustainability but also facilitates the organic growth of the businesses in a cohesive and strategic manner. • it was a lot of work to get all sites to a level playing field before scaffold could be implemented, but the time invested to be able to do so has been paid back ten fold immediately as all sites have recently benefited from the latest development cycle, and of course not had to wait for their turn. The latest development cycle would have taken in excess of two years to deploy across all sites (six to eight months each), but we were able to progress all sites together in the space of seven months. “The foundations we have established now future-proof our operational processes and enable the efficient and economical development of our expanding digital offerings.”
