We have all incorporated Right Mate into our breeding decisions and will have Right Choice logos for each lot. We have parentage tested our entire herds using DNA thru the American Simmental Association to make sure that you are get- ting 100% accuracy in what you select from our sale. Each bull in the sale has also been DNA tested to provide proven parentage along with a higher accuracy in EPD’s for you, our customers. We are also very honored to be working with Allied Genetic Resourc- es in this venture. They offer many services to seedstock and com- mercial cattlemen alike which promote enhanced profitability for everyone. We are excited to offer the Right Bull selection tool to help you take the next step in elevating what you want to accomplish with your genetic investment. This tool improves breeding choices by selecting bulls that prevent wasted matings. The beef industry has really accelerated into a modern landscape, and we feel as though it is demanding even more predictable and consistent genetics. Welcome to the inaugural Genetic Edge Sale. The three programs that make up this sale are very similar in their breeding philosophies and committed to the success of their customers. All three of these programs are committed to producing cattle that fit the current market signal but keeping the mother cow in mind. They realize that cattle need to be problem free but still produce pounds with carcass quality in the end for the consumer. With rising input costs and labor becoming more limited every day, these programs know that cows need to calf easy and then raise a big calf year after year. But it doesn’t end there. With continued and increasing premiums for carcass quality they also breed cattle with the end product in mind. All three of these programs use the best tools available to make breeding decisions to produce cattle that will advance the genetics of their commercial customers. One of these tools is RightChoice. You will notice that the cattle in this sale have RightChoice logos. To get these logos each animal has been DNA tested and evaluated for high impact genes that effect calving ease, growth, maternal, and carcass traits. This makes it easier for the customer to select cattle that fit their program goals to make the most rapid genetic improvement.
