Welcome to our annual bull sale on February 9. We are proud to once again offer a strong set of Simmental and Angus bulls, backed by years of focused genetic improvement. Through continued use of AI and ET, we work to advance our program each year. With an exceptional number of bull calves born this year, we are able to offer a slightly larger group than in recent sales. Foot quality and longevity have been consistent strengths in our program, and we appreciate the many compli- ments we ’ ve received the past few years. Our feeding program is designed to showcase each bull ’ s genetic poten- tial without compromising soundness and foot quality. This year ’ s group was developed with a target gain of 3 pounds per day, ensuring they are in working condition—not over-conditioned. We will once again be using the timed DVAuction format. This platform provides a convenient way to bid and buy bulls. Many buyers have commented on how simple and user-friendly the process is, and we are happy to help with account setup or any questions you may have. Photos and videos are taken in December, when the bulls are roughly nine months old. We encourage you to see the bulls in person, so we offer a $100 sale credit to any customer who visits the ranch and views the bulls prior to the sale. Free delivery is provided within 200 miles of the ranch following breeding evaluations in April. Delivery beyond 200 miles will be at the buyer ’ s expense, but we will assist in coordinating transportation. Updated weights and a supplement sheet will be available on the DVAuction sale page about a week before the sale.

About the Herd

Breeding: We synchronize our cowherd in June each year for AI and ET. We generally AI for a week, put fro- zen embryos in a group of recipient cows and then sort the cows into pastures and turn bulls out. Calving: We aim to start calving the middle of March each year. Our AI and ET calves are born from March 10 to April 5. Bull bred cows will calve for about 45 days starting the end of March. Weaning: The bulls are weaned in October, weighed for their 205 day WW, and then started on a ration of chopped hay, corn silage and creep pellets. We aim for 3 lbs. of gain per day until sale time. Culling: We cull our cowherd heavily for fertility, disposition, foot quality and udder quality. We cull the sale bulls based on phenotype & performance, foot quality, disposition and scrotal circumference.

Ruby ’ s Currency x Bella. We were looking for a replacement for Edge and decided on his half brother. His calves are stouter than Edges while maintaining his phenotype.

The popular Copacetic son that dis- plays extra mass and performance. Elite ’ s were the high selling sire group at TNT ’ s sale last year. We were very pleased with this sire group and will have more next year.

On the Run set the Simmental breed on fire when he was displayed in Denver due to his elite phenotype and athletic build. Their were several high sellers this fall sired by On the Run.

Rise N Shive was the lead off and high selling bull in the 2023 SAV sale for $250,000. He demonstrates as much muscle, shape and power as you can have along with authen- tic breed character.

Sale Day is February 9, 2026 . This sale is a timed event and all bidding happens online at dvauction.com.

• The sale will be listed on the DVAuction homepage under the heading “ Upcoming Timed Events ”.

• There will be links to the catalog, videos of each lot, sale details, and a link to our Facebook page.

• Videos will be posted on DVAuction. Our Facebook page will have updates and information.

• On sale day, bidding will open at Noon with a starting price for each lot. You can start bidding at this time.

• Bids will begin to close at 7 PM. If a bid is placed within 5 minutes, the sale will extend for another 5 minutes. This continues until no bids are placed for 5 minutes. Then the sale is closed. All lots close at the same time.

• Sale Invoices will be emailed to buyers after the sale. Please make sure you have a current email address listed on your DVAuction account. Invoices will only be mailed by request.

Sale Terms:

The bulls are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale and guaranteed to pass a breeding soundness evaluation in the spring. Each lot is owned by the purchaser at the conclusion of the sale. Bulls can be kept and fed at Wollmuth Ranch until they are tested the beginning of April. Bulls will be delivered after that. Free delivery is offered within 200 miles of the Ranch. Delivery is the responsibility of the buyer beyond that distance, but we will assist with getting the bulls to your ranch. Buyers are encouraged to get insurance on their purchase as Wollmuth Ranch will not be held responsible for injury or death after the sale date. We will care for the bulls like our own and have had very few incidents, but accidents can happen. We recommend getting insurance through Brett Schaefer @ Heritage Insurance Services (701)818-0806.
