Her most recent book, Reframing Vivien Leigh (Oxford University Press, 2021), explored the archives of the stage and screen star Vivien Leigh, looking for material traces of her creative labour. Her current research project is titled ‘Ageing on Screen after #MeToo’. It investigates the way the #MeToo movement has affected the way ageing and older women are represented in mainstream cinema. She is also interested in areas such as adaptation studies, film and TV fandom, and LGBTQI+ cinema and television.
