A Note from Pastor Brian:
Thank you all for your faithful giving to missions. What an exciting thing to see that our Christmas Mission Offering exceeded the goal! I am thankful to be part of a church that gives to missions. As many of you know, we are a part of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). One of the unique aspects of being part of the SBC is that we come together to do missions. As a church, we do this in several different ways. First, we tithe our annual budget to missions. This means that a portion of all general fund giving goes to the cooperative program. Second, we give 60% of our Christmas Missions Offering to SBC missions. So, of this 60%, half of it goes directly to support North American missionaries, and the other half goes to support international missionaries. In addition, we continue to partner with Chanku Waste Ranch as well as Creators Fellowship Church in South Dakota. We have also had opportunity to directly support the needs of some of our missionaries around the world. For instance, we helped by giving toward a new air conditioning system in a church in Greece last year and our Disaster Relief Team from Ohio installed it. Again, I am so grateful for the faithfulness of all of you who give above and beyond to missions.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
Violet and Disaster Relief
As a church family, we have an amazing opportunity to show and share the love of Christ through Disaster Relief. Violet has already had a group of people that have taken the training and are ready to be deployed. Some of the opportunities that are available to you are as follows: Chainsaw Team, Communications Team, Flood Recovery Team, and Food Team. The next training will be at Jersey Church on March 2. Please go to this link to do the online training and to sign up if you are interested:

Part of the Christmas Mission Offering this year will go toward the purchase of a recovery trailer. This trailer will allow us as a church to respond to needs in our community. We are planning to focus on a Chainsaw Team, Flood Recovery Team, and Rebuild Team. Once this trailer is established, we could also be called on to team up with the state teams that are deployed.
