HERITAGE ADVISORY SERVICE
CITY OF CASEY HERITAGE RESTORATION FUND
The City of Casey offers a free heritage advisory service to owners, occupiers and managers of all heritage places across the municipality.
The Casey Heritage Restoration Fund (CHRF) was established through a partnership with the Victorian Heritage Restoration Fund (VHRF administered by the National Trust of Victoria) in 2020.
The Heritage Advisory Service engages external heritage specialists to provide advice on:
The fund provides financial assistance for conservation works to places of identified historical significance within the City of Casey. Funds can also be provided
– Alterations and additions – New buildings – Subdivision or consolidation of land – Fences (new or conservation/replacement of existing)
for professional advice and documentation, engineering advice and schedules of work.

– Removal or lopping of trees – Repairs and maintenance
– Technical conservation advice for specific materials and elements of heritage places – Appropriate colour schemes for heritage places – Design, colour and location of signs on commercial buildings – Assistance with the restoration or reconstruction of altered verandahs, facades or shopfronts – Finding information on specific or specialised materials or trades
