2016 Sea Tales Family Cruise Travel Planner

Camp Ocean This marine-themed children’s program for kids aged 2–11 will immerse children in the wonders of the sea through fun, engaging, and educational experiences.

This program is divided into three age-related categories. Children aged 2–5 will be dubbed “Penguins,” children aged 6–8 “Sting Rays,” and children aged 9–11 “Sharks.” Distinctive areas and activities have been designed for each age group, from miniature play igloos for the Penguins to interactive gaming stations for the Sharks. The Camp Ocean program will also have a badge challenge that will allow children the opportunity to earn and collect badges. Badge challenges will include a variety of unique activities that provide an original way for kids to learn about the vessel, experience onboard adventures, and gain a sense of accomplishment. Tasks may include trying a new food, making an aquatic towel animal, or riding the water slide. The new Camp Ocean program debuted on the Carnival Freedom in May 2014. Camp Ocean was introduced on Carnival Magic, Carnival Breeze, and Carnival Triumph in 2014, and will be implemented in the rest of the

fleet by 2016. Seuss at Sea Carnival Cruise Lines has partnered with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to offer Seuss at Sea, a fleet-wide program featuring exciting youth, family, dining, and entertainment experiences inspired by the amazing world and words of Dr. Seuss. The program is currently featured on the Carnival Splendor and Carnival Freedom and includes Seuss-a-palooza Story Time, an interactive reading event for kids of all ages hosted in a vibrant tent on the stage of the main show lounge. Fleet-wide rollout of this program is expected in 2015. Tweens and Teens (12–17 years) Circle “C” is where young teens aged 12–14 go to hang out, meet new friends, and enjoy some pretty awesome activities like dance parties, games, outdoor movies, and more—both in the special Circle “C” area and around the ship. It’s all supervised by friendly and fun-loving counselors who want your young teens to have the best vacation ever. At Club O2, teens can hang out and do stuff like watch movies, listen to music from this decade, play sports and video games, join karaoke jam sessions, and maybe even have a pool party or two, all with other high schoolers between the ages of fifteen and seventeen. There are even teen-only shore excursions. #9: Crystal Cruises Minimum Age: Six months Children’s Programs: Extensive Babysitting: Yes Tickets: http://www.cruisecompete.com/lines/crystal_cruises.html
