A lasting way to remember

to look forward to...

Our Forget-Me-Nots are a meaningful way to remember a loved one while helping us provide vital care and services to people across Ayrshire and Arran.

One of the ways these flowers make a difference is by helping to fund our bereavement counselling sessions. Grief can feel overwhelming, and access to professional support gives people a safe space to process their emotions. As well as being available from Gargowan Gifts at the Hospice, the flowers can also be purchased from The Crafty Coo, 72 Sandgate, Ayr. The shop, which supports local artists and craft makers, stocks the in-memory flowers, giving visitors the opportunity to purchase a meaningful keepsake while supporting a wider cause. These small tokens of remembrance can create a lasting impact, turning memories into support for others.

There’s plenty to look forward to over the coming months, with some of our favourite events returning for the festive season and beyond. Here are three dates to add to your diary.

By donating towards a Forget-Me-Not, you can help provide emotional and practical care for local patients and their families.

Gifts in Wills fund one in four of our In-Patient stays, and we are so grateful for the kindness of those who have chosen to support the Ayrshire Hospice in such a meaningful way. Make the Ayrshire Hospice’s care your legacy

In 2021, James arranged to leave a gift in his Will to the Ayrshire Hospice. Despite not having a personal connection to the Hospice, James wanted to give back to his community. He said: “If leaving a gift in my Will means I can help someone else in my community, I will. I hope people will continue to support the Hospice. I’ve never needed it, but I want it to be there if I ever do. I know they will help me.”

Thank you to James and all our generous legacy supporters for pledging a gift to the Hospice. Your support helps ensure we can continue to provide exceptional care for generations to come. If you would like more information about leaving a gift in your Will, please visit www. ayrshirehospice.org or call 01292 269200 to speak to a member of our Fundraising Team.
