S omes House has thrilled the crowd at the House Music Festival at the Christchurch Town Hall, lifting the Carey House Shield for Best House Choir, with a wonderful rendition of Hooked on a Feeling . Presented by the Christ's College Parents’ Association, it is the 85th edition of the highly competitive College event. Meanwhile, Julius House has claimed the Christ’s College Parents’ Association Trophy for gaining the most points in House Music. Somes and School have shared the Conductor’s Cup for leadership and performance under the guidance of Jack Kennedy and Hugo Helmore, respectively, while Flower’s has claimed the coveted House Spirit Trophy.
