Women's Club Offering Business Scholarship to GSCC

The Women’s Club of Weiss Lake is offering a $1,500 scholarship to a qualifying female student at Gadsden State Community College. The scholarship will be awarded to the college and may be used toward the cost of tuition, books, fees or any expense charged to the student by the college. Female students who wish to apply for the scholarship must be residents of Cherokee
Guntersville Softball Seniors The girls shown above are the senior members of the Guntersville Softball team. They were recognized and honored during the Lady Wildcats recent game against Douglas. They also helped lead the Lady Wildcats to the 2022 Class 5A Area 14 Softball Championship. The Scholarship application is available at the Business Office at Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre. The Deadline to submit the application is June 1.
