September is wine harvest month in the United States and Europe. Plan a trip, long weekend or a pilgrimage to your favorite winery, you won’t regret it. An alternate event would be to plan a get together with friends and family. Time to celebrate with a casual outdoor dinner enjoying the last days of summer. Select different varietals of wine and celebrate with a tasting party. A french themed menu will pair nicely with some of the finest wines in the world, or add a few local varieities to add to your reportoire. Visit a farmers market for fresh vegetables for a charcuterie board and the last of the summer crop of Heirloom tomates.
