Princess Day Another of the newer holidays Princess Day began in 1994 after the release of the animated film “The Swan Princess”. A holiday dedicated to the idea that everyone can be a princess, no matter who they are. It stokes the imagination of both children and adults alike and allows them to enjoy a regal holiday dedicated to a princess lifestyle. As times have changed so have the ideas of a princess. From Pocahontas (a real princess) to Snow White or Jasmine, there is a princess that embodies characteristics that a little girl might enjoy. Imagination and a bit of escape from reality are called for. The celebration of this light hearted day is for anyone who would like to be princess for a day.
