C entral P ennsylvania Land sold from Vartan Group to The Nature Conservancy and PA Game Commission NAI CIR facilitates 509-Acre land sale for conservation in Dauphin County
ARRISBURG, PA — NAI CIR is proud to announce the success- ful conveyance of 509 acres of pristine land in Middle Paxton Twp., PA to The Nature Conser- vancy. The Nature Conservancy closed on the transaction and transferred it to the Pennsylva- nia Game Commission for addi- tion to State Game Lands 211. This remarkable property adds to a protected wildlife corridor that spans more than 30 miles. It is located within the Kittatinny Ridge, part of an important migrato- ry superhighway for wildlife H
in North America including broad-wing hawks, kestrels, ruby-throated humming- birds, eastern bluebirds, monarch butterflies, and cerulean warblers. Special recognition is due to the Vartan Group , the property’s steward for the past 30 years, who expressed great enthusiasm about the transi- tion of property ownership to ensure its conservation and protection for perpetuity. In addition, The Ferber Company has acquired the prominent site at 2323 Lin - glestown Rd. in Harrisburg for development of a new Chase Bank location. A 15,000 s/f retail prop- erty at 4747 Jonestown Rd. in Harrisburg has been sold to Jonestown Realty Partners, LLC. The transaction also included three adjacent resi- dential properties located at 4706, 4708, and 4712 Queen St. The buyer plans to occupy two-thirds of the building for their own business operations. Community C.A.R.E.S. has purchased the 6,100 s/f office building located at 230 S. Spring Garden St. in Carlisle. Originally founded in 2004 as Carlisle C.A.R.E.S., the organization provides emergency shelter and support services to indi- viduals and families experi- encing homelessness in the Carlisle area. This building has been home to Community C.A.R.E.S. since 2022 and this purchase solidifies its long-term pres - ence in the community. The organization operates three separate locations and sup- ports 120 men, women, and children with a dedicated team of more than 20 staff members. C&G Strategies, LLC, a lob- bying firm with offices in Har - risburg and Pittsburgh, has leased a new 1,500 s/f suite at 500 N. Third St. in downtown Harrisburg. The new office provides a strategic location just steps from the Capitol Complex, enhancing the firm’s accessibility and visibility within the state’s political hub.
