POST-SURGICAL REHAB BECOME HEALTHIER, STRONGER, MORE ACTIVE

It is a common aspiration to become healthier, stronger, or more active. However, this can sometimes be a difficult feat, with lack of time, pain, injuries, or difficulty sticking to a nutritious diet. Travis Carruth can attest tomuch of this. Travis tore his right ACL causing knee pain, swelling, and hampered the leg movement while playing his favorite sport of baseball for Bemidji State University. In his case, the treatment included surgery and then post surgical rehab with Brady Miller, DPT, Cody Schepp, DPT and TJ Knowles, PTA and for a short time with Hibbing Clinic therapists while he was home on holiday break. Our physical therapy team and his determinationwas just what he needed to help himget back to his optimum level of function and his daily routines after the surgery. When you are in pain, undesirable chemicals within your body are heightened, which can increase stress. As a result, your endocrine system becomes affected, which works to regulate the hormones in your body. Fortunately, the vast majority of aches and pains can be successfully treated by a licensed physical therapist. At Choice Therapy, our team is comprised of movement experts who have the knowledge and training to diagnose, evaluate, and treat any musculoskeletal condition that comes their way.
