Summer Reading Club Kindergarten & 1st Graders
May count books read to them by others (including audiobooks) 2nd – 5th Graders Should read independently as much as possible May count audiobooks if paired with a printed copy What Counts: Fiction Non-fiction Graphic novels Magazines
Earning Points: 20 minutes of reading = 1 point 60 points = 1 completed log Reading Log Rules: Readers may complete up to 2 logs Readers may not log more than 1 hour of reading per day. Parents sign-off per hour of reading. Kids track their reading in 20 minute increments. Prize Room Details: Bring the whole family
to celebrate the end of summer reading with a party. Can’t attend? Let us know-we’ll gladly make arrangements so you don’t miss out! Completed reading logs can be submitted anytime but must be turned in by August 2 to be entered into the Prize Room Entry Order Drawing. This gives everyone a chance to be the first to choose their prizes and determines the order we’ll call you into the prize room. nd
