Monday, June 2 2025 nd,, Summer Reading club Kick Off All Day Come sign up and get everything your readers’ need to start their reading journey. This is a drop-in event that you may bring the whole family to. Whether you're new or a returning reader, we can't wait to see what everyone will read—and create —this summer! Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 Scovill Zoo Mobile 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Get ready for a wild time when the Scovill Zoo brings their Mobile Zoo to the library! Trained zoo volunteers will introduce real animals—one at a time—in an engaging presentation perfect for curious young minds. Learn cool animal facts, see them up close, and maybe even touch a few if you're brave enough! Wednesday June 25 2025 th, 4-H youth development 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Color Our World with Clay! Join 4-H Youth Development for a colorful clay adventure! Kids will use bright air-dry clay to create fun coiled and pinch pots. This is a hands-on craft — plan to come and get messy and make a masterpiece!
Tie-Dye + Sno cones 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Keep the summer colorful with our Tie-Dye & Sno Cone Program— featuring hands-on tie-dye fun and refreshing Kona Ice sno- cones. It’s the perfect way to create and cool off this summer! Wednesday, July 23 , 2025 rd Guided paint lesson 10:30 am -12:00 pm Kids will create their own artwork on canvas—no prior painting experience needed! All materials are provided, and every participant will take home their own creation. Whether your child is a budding artist or just wants to try something new, this is a great opportunity to express imagination through color and creativity. Wednesday August 6 , 2025 th Prize party 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Parents and readers—come celebrate at our Summer Reading Club Finale! Join us for an afternoon of snacks,
music, and yard games (weather permitting) as we honor all the
amazing readers who participated this summer. It’s our way of saying “Great job!” and “Thank you!” for making this season so special.
