The production capacity of McEl- roy’s newer equipment, plus the amplified throughput of the EMBA 295, also required the simultaneous addition of a new Mosca semi-automatic unitizer with three banding heads on the finished product conveyor line. Support & Service As with many machine placements in box plants, the EMBA 295’s installation was not without its challenges. Will Armentrout, the company’s Controller, recalled one of the hurdles they had to jump when they completed the 28,000-foot expansion in 2022 and began to plan for the arrival of the EMBA 295: resetting the entire layout of the plant. “Everything was running east to west, so we reset the entire plant to accommodate the 295.” Steve McElroy added, “When we installed the EMBA Steve McElroy maintains his is just a "brown box" company, but the Apstar three-color rotary die cutter can meet many of his customers’ graphic needs.
