Red, White, and Blue and Up to You! Saturday, July 6th Welcome to the second annual Red, White, Blue, and up to you Men’s Event. We decided to make a change to the Men’s Tournament schedule last year and eliminated the 27-hole Fun n’ Sun Event. This will be a Red, White, and Blue event with a little strategic twist and will be fun for all. We will still traditionally flight this event so teams can sign up for the Gold, Blue, or White Flights. Each team of four will pre-determine who on the team will play from the Blue tee, White tee, and Red tee (we’ll use player’s green tee handicaps for strokes). The strategic twist is each team will decide which tee the fourth player will play from. Would you like more strokes or a shorter golf course? Up to you! The format will be two best balls of four, breakfast will be served at 7:45am, shotgun at 9:00am, and scoring and lunch will follow play. And don’t forget to wear your best red, white, and blue gear! Registration for this event is currently open. Grounds Maintenance Week The golf course will be closed Wednesday, July 10th through Wednesday, July 17th for our annual maintenance week. The Golf Shop and driving range will reopen on Tuesday, July 16th and the golf course will reopen on Thursday, July 18th. If you plan on playing away while the golf course and golf operation is closed, please pick up your golf bag no later than Tuesday, July 9th. THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP Friday-Sunday, August 16th-18th The Club Championship is open to all members and their eligible immediate family. FORMAT : Individual Stroke Play flighted by Handicap Indexes. Championship Flights will play 54 holes.
