DUNWOODY COUNTRY CLUB • TENNIS & PICKLEBALL

Thank you for your Service On May 1st, DCC lost a member of the tennis staff. David Jones passed away that day. It was a terrible and strange loss especially since we think of tennis staff members being in good health. Obviously, David was not. David left our staff and our club with a big hole to fill. He did so much for so many, especially behind the scenes. While he loved to be around people, he loved taking care of people and helping others more. Big-hearted people do this purely for the satisfaction they get from caring for others. That describes David. He served this club in so many ways that our membership and even his colleagues never knew, yet we all reaped the benefits from his care. He took pride in his work and wanted the best for all of us whether you were a colleague, customer, or especially a friend. He did not need credit for what he did for others. He did it because he enjoyed serving others. That is a quality sorely lacking in this world today. He worked with kids be- cause he was a kid at heart. As an Air Force veteran of 20 years, David truly loved serving his country and was proud of his military service. He once told me he was just as proud to serve the members of this club. We miss D.J.
