MIGHT & MSCA attended the FGD session organised by Majlis Daerah Kampar on the Kampar Smart City Action Plan 2030 at Dewan Bandaran Kampar. This session aimed to Informing the smart city Agenda by Majlis Daerah Kampar thus to get feedback and recommendation from various stakeholders. Kampar Smart City Action Plan 2030 consist of 7 main smart city component, 35 smart action plans, 19 projects, 1 key program & 3 focus guidance. Among the issues highlight by the participants are:- lower telco coverage, lower tourism advertisment, un-coordinate waste management & unnecessary traffic light point. About 120 participants from government agency, solution provider, developer,

MSCA and MIGHT had a fruitful discussion with MOSTI’s Technology Transfer and R&D Commercialisation Division to explore potential collaboration under MySTI programme. The meeting was chaired by Puan Sri Dr. Halila Faiza binti Zainal Abidin, Principal Assistant Secretary and attended together representative from MTDC and MRANTI. Three proposed avenues highlighted to uplift the MySTI programme with a focus on technology rollout leveraging on MIGHT and MSCA platform. Moving forward, MSCA together with MIGHT will host a MySTI clinic to raise involvement and awareness among industry partners about the benefits of becoming certified under the MySTI programme.
