The Benefits of Invisalign Virtual Care When the pandemic was ongoing, many health care providers explored the idea of telehealth and virtual care for their practices. Whether you needed to see a general practitioner or therapist, you could easily hop on your phone, tablet, or computer to reach a health care professional and get help. This transition proved much more difficult for those in the dental field, as we often have to look at X-rays and examine your teeth and gums to make a diagnosis. However, with the help of Invisalign Virtual Care, we’re now able to monitor your treatment without having you come through our doors every week or two. MONITOR YOUR SMILE ON YOUR SCHEDULE
By now, you’re probably wondering how this will benefit your treatment. For starters, we can monitor your progress without you leaving
the comfort of your own home. You only need to come to the office when necessary, which saves you time and gas money. By viewing your images, we can guide your treatment and catch any issues as they arise, keeping your treatment plan on track. Participating in Invisalign Virtual Care is one of the many ways we maximize your treatment’s effectiveness and efficiency. If you have any questions about Invisalign Virtual Care, don’t hesitate to call us or ask at your next appointment. We’re continuing to find new ways to enhance the quality of treatment and improve the patient experience!
Setting up Invisalign Virtual Care is relatively straightforward. You start by downloading the My Invisalign app and setting up your patient account. We’ll provide you with a special lens that attaches to your phone’s camera, and every time you change an aligner, you’ll take a photo using the Invisalign Lens, which we can view at our office. Keep in mind that this doesn’t replace all of your in-office appointments. You’ll still need to visit us for any necessary adjustments and appointments.
