GETTING TO SCHOOL ON TIME!

As I walk around our school each morning, I often see many students arriving late. This year we introduced a slightly earlier bell with the aim being to provide students the opportunity to enter their classroom, say hello to their teachers and get organised for the day which starts at 9am sharp. We need all students to arrive no later than 8.55am so that we can maximise our learning each day. Arriving at 9am when the second bell goes is late. You would be amazed at the effect of even a few minutes late each day can have over a longer time frame.

BREAKFAST CLUB!

A small change with Breakfast Club this semester with it now running on a Wednesday morning from 8.15am - 8.45am. We look forward to seeing as many students as possible having a piece of toast, some fruit or a glass of milk during this time.

FACILITY UPGRADES!

It was wonderful to come back after the break to see several improvements across both campuses.

On the Primary Campus, the Prep and Year 1 space have been recarpeted.

This is the first step in improving spaces across the campus, with the Year 2/3 space next to be carpeted and toilets to be refurbished and upgraded over the next 12 months. Outdoor spaces will also be upgraded over the next 12 months to give our school a sense of pride. On our Secondary Campus, new carpet, walls in classrooms and furniture was purchased to uplift spaces and make areas more learner friendly.

Have a wonderful weekend.
