Hi everyone, it ’ s Hanan and Mia, your Year 6 SRC students! We ’ ve started Term 3 with a bang by having lots of production rehearsals for our Annual Production, “ Bring It On! ”. We ’ re excited to show the parents what we ’ ve been learning in Dance and creating our costumes. We also had an SRC meeting where we talked about buying some more classroom resources for students to use, we ’ re hoping we can purchase some bean bags for our quiet spaces in our classrooms. In the next few weeks, we should hopefully have some photos.... Stay tuned and keep warm!

5/6 BOYS NETBALL & GIRLS AFL KIARA T, OLIVIA V & JAHMIN S YEAR 6 GIRLS AFL Last Friday the 14 th of July, a group of lucky year 5’ s and 6’ s that were on the footy team got to go to Marymede for a day to compete against other schools in Interschool sport. Everyone was excited and ready to play from all the training we had beforehand. We got the opportunity to play 6 matches and we all had fun playing football and for some people trying a new sport. We lost 3 matches and won 3 matches and placed 4th out of 6 teams. We may not have come back with a flag or first place but we did have fun playing with our friends and got to try a different experience and everyone came back happy that we represented our school. Hopefully the year 5’ s will try out for the football team again next year because they had a really good time and for the year 6’ s it was a fun thing to do for our last year of primary! All of us were glad that we got the opportunity to play and we will definitely try out for more sports in the future.
