Taxis zTrip is the main taxi service offered at the airport. The average cost of a ride from the airport to downtown Louisville is around $20. Their phone number is (502) 777-7777. Accessibility Options Muhammad Ali International Airport’s website lists several accessibility options for ground transportation. Able Care Transportation: (502) 267-1911
Alpha Medical: (502) 936-9154 CareConextion: (502) 466-7000 TARC 3 bus: (502) 213-3217 Public Transit
If you’re looking for a more budget friendly ground transportation option, you can ride like a local with Louisville’s Transit Authority of River City (TARC). The number 2 Second Street route drops off and picks up at multiple locations along 5th and 1st Streets that are only a few blocks from the Omni. Google Maps recommends getting off at the S 1st @ W Liberty stop and walking down Liberty to S 2nd St to get to the Omni. Buses run every 35-45 minutes, with the entire route, from the airport to 5th & Market Street, taking anywhere from 30 – 40 minutes. It’s $1.75 exact cash for a single ride, or if you buy a TARC card online at www.ridetarc.org/mytarc-card, you’ll only pay $1.50 for a single ride. To find more information about the Second Street routes and other local routes, go to www.ridetarc.org. Getting Around Louisville Including the transportation options mentioned previously, rideshares, taxis, public transit, downtown Louisville also offers electric scooters through Lime, Bird, Bolt, & Spin, as well as bicycles through the bike-sharing company, LouVelo, for getting yourself from place to place. If walking is more your speed, downtown Louisville is luckily, an easily walkable city. Parking Overnight parking at the Omni Louisville Hotel is valet only and costs $40 per night, per car. Omni Louisville notes on their website that additional public self-parking options are available directly behind the hotel and can be accessed from 3rd Street. These garages do not have direct access to the hotel. Depending on what garage you choose, prepare to walk at least 1-2 blocks. Rates vary based upon the garage, but you can expect rates to range between $15 and $27 per night, without in and out privileges. There’s also plenty of metered street parking, as well as other parking garages downtown. Please note that the meters take coins, and only certain ones take credit cards.

Energy, the company my father built. Here I was able to interact and gain experience across much of the Rockies including working with many of the American Indian Tribes. At this point in my career, I knew I wanted to gain “in-house” experience which led me to join Newfield Exploration in 2011. At Newfield I was able to work across all the business units located in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas. In 2019 Newfield was acquired by Ovintiv (formally known as Encana) and I was able to assist in the integration of the two companies both pre- and post-closing. During my decade plus time with Ovintiv I have been lucky enough to work with and lead teams focused in areas of Land, Land Administration and Land Innovations. I am happily married to my loving wife, Elizabeth, and we are blessed with our three incredible children Cabrin, Scarlett and Juliette, all Landmen in training.
