Prior to joining Stephens in September 2022, Mr. Dewbre was with Southwestern Energy Company and Chesapeake Energy Corporation in senior executive roles. Jim brings his expertise to the Company in land, business development, and related matters from over 38 years in the oil and gas industry.

Steve is active in his community and served on the Tyler City Council, the Tyler Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, the Grace Community School Board, and several non-profit boards. However, his greatest passion is serving the at-risk community in Tyler and Smith County through mentoring programs and CPS assistance. Steve and his wife Susan live in Tyler, Texas. They are the parents of four grown and married children and are now the proud grandparents of their first grandchild.

Ryan Watts Executive Director at Kentucky Oil and Gas Association (KOGA)

Mississippi - having earned a B.A. in political science. As an independent field landman, he has experience working in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Kansas. He has served as Secretary on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Professional Landmen, as well as serving that organization in various other capacities including roles as a member of the Board of Directors, and as Committee Chairman (Legal/ Legislative and Membership Committees) and Task Force Chairman (Membership-Certification and Professional Paper). Mark Eppes is president of Crownpointe Resources, Inc. in Madison, Mississippi.

Ryan Watts has served as the executive director for the Kentucky Oil and Gas Association (KOGA) since September 2017. KOGA represents and advocates for the interests of Kentucky’s crude oil and natural gas industry, focusing on independent crude oil and natural gas operators. Watts began his career as the press secretary for Lt. Governor Steve Pence. Watts also served as executive director of the Office of Public Affairs for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). In that capacity, Watts directed all communications and served as chief spokesman for the 4,400-employee agency, responsible for maintaining and preserving a vast infrastructure network across Kentucky. Ryan has served as the Good Shepherd Catholic School Advisory Council president for two years. Watts also earned his Eagle Scout Award and served as an executive committee board member of the Bluegrass Council for the Boy Scouts of America. Watts is a 2022 graduate of Leadership Kentucky. Watts, originally from Bardstown, is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with political science and mathematics degrees. He lives in Frankfort with his wife, Ashli, and two children.
