Energy, the company my father built. Here I was able to interact and gain experience across much of the Rockies including working with many of the American Indian Tribes. At this point in my career, I knew I wanted to gain “in-house” experience which led me to join Newfield Exploration in 2011. At Newfield I was able to work across all the business units located in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas. In 2019 Newfield was acquired by Ovintiv (formally known as Encana) and I was able to assist in the integration of the two companies both pre- and post-closing. During my decade plus time with Ovintiv I have been lucky enough to work with and lead teams focused in areas of Land, Land Administration and Land Innovations. I am happily married to my loving wife, Elizabeth, and we are blessed with our three incredible children Cabrin, Scarlett and Juliette, all Landmen in training.
