Virginia Cattlemen's Association Weekly Tel-O-Auction Sale
The Virginia Cattlemen's Association sponsors a Tel-O-Auction sale on Mondays nearly weekly throughout the year. Each sale will have a selection of feeder and yearling cattle available that have been graded by the Virginia Department of Agriculture marketing specialists for an accurate description of the cattle conformation and expected sale weight. Further questions about the cattle may be directed to the contact information listed for each load for sale or by contacting the Virginia Cattlemen's Association staff as follows: Butch Foster -Field Manager, 423-360-0434 Troy Lawson -Field Representative, 540-430-0042 To participate as a bidder for any Tel-O-Auction sale please call the Virginia Cattlemen's Association office by 5 PM on sale day, at 540-992-1009, to obtain a bidder number. Bidders may then participate in the Tel-O-Auction call by dialing 1-800-309-2350 and use Passcode 4505513# when prompted. Please join the sale by 6 PM and use your phone's mute button when not bidding. Tel O Auction Slide: All loads are sold at the listed average target weight with VCA recommended 35 pound WEIGHT STOP unless otherwise noted, except for commingled lots unless otherwise stipulated. Cattle price slide will be determined prior to sale time and will be announced just prior to sale.
