With the COVID-19 Pandemic affecting the whole world concurrently, and many individuals are staying home, the US government is encouraging telemedicine for patients to be able to receive care using this technology that everyone has access to on their phones. Physical and occupational therapy focuses on treating conditions affecting the neurological and musculoskeletal system, including joints, muscles, bones, ligaments, and tendons. Video visits can be used to guide patients through strengthening, flexibility, and functional mobility exercises
to recover from surgery or address chronic conditions. Video visits improve compliance with treatment plans and reduces the burden on both patients and caregivers. Please call us to set up a time for one of our therapists to video-call you on Facetime, Skype, or WhatsApp, and ensure that you are doing your Home Exercises correctly.” We are also offering home health services to those patients that urgently require therapy.
