What a difference! Docks eyesore gave way to attractive waterside destination

Merchants Quay is a striking example of the transformation of the Docks area, as shown in our before and after pictures. Built in the 1980s, Merchants Quay centre included a variety of small shops such as Edinburgh Woollen Mill and the popular Pizza Piazza.
