(Licensed for civil ceremonies) Situated in the beautiful parkland of the Blaise Estate at Henbury, this late eighteenth century mansion was immortalised by being described as ‘the finest place in England’ in Jane Austen’s novel Northanger Abbey. They have two options for your ceremony; you can hold it in the Picture Room for up to 70 guests, providing an intimate atmosphere and a grand backdrop for the ceremony. The room has been restored with sumptuous red wallpaper, decorative features and is hung with pictures from the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery’s collections.

City Hall (Licensed for civil ceremonies)

As one of the West’s most distinguished venues, City Hall offers an exceptional location for your special day. Each of the stunning rooms available for your Ceremony can be booked separately or combined with the Conference Hall or Main Foyer to provide an adjoining reception space for your Wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. The Lord Mayor’s Reception Room has a luxurious feel, offers a warm welcome with its original period features and can accommodate up to 50 guests.
