IV aid as long as they are on a plan, and they meet the plan’s requirements, or they meet the general SAP standards.
E. Reestablishing Title IV Eligibility After Suspension of Benefits A student who lost Title IV eligibility can regain access to Title IV aid by either successfully appealing for the loss of eligibility or meeting the general SAP standards.
VII. Successful Completion The following standards apply to any student receiving aid from the Veterans Administration and TITLE IV eligible program. (Pell Grant, FSEOG, Federal Work Study and/or Federal Loans) Word of Life Bible Institute is a clock hour school. One academic year contains 986 clock hours. To maintain federal aid, students must successfully complete those 986 clock hours. If a student fails a course(s), they have not successfully completed the hours of that course. A student must complete all hours of the first payment period before their second round of federal aid can be disbursed. This may mean students' federal aid will be disbursed at a later date into their second semester depending on when they complete 493 hours. At the end of the year, the financial aid department may need to prorate the student's PELL Grant and/or federal loans to account for any hours they did not successfully complete. This means a portion of your PELL Grant and loans may need to be returned to the government, leaving the student responsible for the balance created. VIII. VA and Military Students The following requirements will be met for VA and military students: 1. Allow enrolled members of the Armed Forces, including reserve components and National Guard to be readmitted if such members are temporarily unavailable or must suspend enrollment by reason of serving in the Armed Forces. 2. Accommodate short absences for such services in the Armed Forces.
