One thing that can be said of Japanese automaker Nissan is that it never gives an inch. Take, for example, the many new products it has recently introduced, starting with the diminutive Micra. Only available in Canada, this small city car is based upon the Versa platform. In the U.S., the Versa is available as a small economical sedan. The fastback version, the Note, which is sold all over North America, has known much success since its introduction last year. The bigger Sentra is also a much appreci- ated car, as is the mighty Altima, one of the continent’s most popular mid-sized sedans. Be on the lookout for a totally redesigned Maxima, expected to be unveiled in the next few months. Although it has to be spe-
cially ordered, the useful Quest minivan is still available to motorists who need a good people mover. And by the way, if you are a sports car fan, you surely know that Nissan builds the fantastic 370Z coupes and road- sters, while its most specialized car has to be the unique GTR supercar! If you like light trucks, have a look at the com- pact Rogue, which was recently redesigned with a more aggressive look. Its bigger brother, the Murano CUV, is about to hit the market with its all-new body style. Continuing on with SUVs, it is hard to ignore the major success of the recently redesigned Pathfinder. Don’t for- get that it is also available in an electric-hybrid
